Ardmore Roderick is seeking an experienced full-time, on-site Construction Scheduler in Memphis, TN with a strong background in aviation and project management. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience working with Oracle P6, along with experience in the aviation industry. A Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or a related field is a requirement for this position. A certification in PMI-SP is desirable or a willingness to accomplish same.

The scheduler will supply technical knowledge and utilize experience from construction projects with responsibilities that may include to the following:

· Utilize Oracle Primavera P6 to develop and maintain project schedules for aviation construction projects.

· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to project timelines.

· Implement project controls procedures and practices to monitor progress and identify potential delays.

· Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with project teams and stakeholders.

· Experience in cost control, ensuring projects stay within budget constraints.

· Review specifications and calculate takeoffs from plans to determine quantities for preparing schedule activities and associated durations.

· Cost and/or resource load schedules as needed.

· Prepare independent CPM schedules for evaluating construction contract milestones, durations, and time impact of contract change modifications and potential claim settlements.

· Review and prepare written evaluations of contractor or consultant schedules. This includes providing recommendations for corrective actions to mitigate impact to variances from contract completion dates.

· Support negotiations for finalizing time impact claims.

· Assist in constructability reviews.

· Earned Value Management experience is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

· 5-10 years of experience with Oracle P6

· Experience in the aviation industry.

· Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

· Ability to analyze schedule data and render professional opinion on reasons for variances.

· Effective communication skills, both oral and written

· Demonstrated proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

· Experience with e-builder, Procore, Bluebeam, or InEight is a plus.

· Demonstrated diligence in detail.

· Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors.

· Knowledge of project controls procedures and practices

· Ability to assist in the preparation of construction scheduling specifications.

· Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications.

· Experience with construction cost tracking and cost control.

· Ability to give presentations of schedule reports to stakeholders.

· Ability to work in a challenging environment.
