PROJECT MANAGER - TRANSPORTATION

We are seeking a Project Manger to join our growing Civil/Transportation Department at Ardmore Roderick. We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager level candidate who is interested in overseeing projects, interacting with clients and supervising design staff. The ideal candidate will possess both Phase I and Phase II experience in projects for clients such as IDOT, Tollway, CDOT and local agencies. Your duties will include:
Description
· Oversee and mentor Junior Engineers
· Perform designs, create drawings and review those of others
· Perform Quality Control reviews
· Prepare RFP’s submittals and Go/No Go potential pursuits
· Serve as a technical expert on design matters
· Lead project meetings both internally and with clients
· Manage scope/schedule/budget of projects
· Other duties as necessary
Requirements
· BSCE degree in Civil Engineering
· 10+ years of experience in roadway design
· Professional Engineer (PE) License required
· Familiarity with IDOT, Tollway and Local Agencies
· Microstation, Open Roads 3D Modeling, ProjectWise
· Traffic Software such as HCS, Synchro
· Drainage programs such as Geopak Drainage, SUDA, HEC-RAS
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
