Job Overview
We are seeking a new Roadway Field Inspector to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Roadway Field Inspector, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever-evolving project needs.  This opportunity will be located in the field, based out of our Champaign, IL office. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring compliance with the project's specifications, timeline and budget
  • Maintaining detailed records of daily construction operations
  • Addressing and resolving issues that may arise during the construction process
  • Daily interaction with the contractor to ensure project is done on time and at budget
Required Qualifications​​​​
  • Willingness to work in the outdoor elements 
  • Ability to interact with other team members and contractors in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Ability to track and calculate measurements and quantities for project materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Have good to great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Civil or equivalent engineering degree
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $59,280 - $63,440, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
