As a Loan and Grants Specialist, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at our client’s Chicago location and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.

Salary Range: $98,176-122,720, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.

We are seeking a new Loan and Grants Specialist to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Loan and Grants Specialist, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at our client’s Chicago location and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contract modifications prepared by DWM contracts department
- Coordinate revisions and submit to IEPA for review and approval
- Track status of approvals and revisions
- Prepare and review IEPA active loan disbursement packages and distribute to program controls team and DWM for review and approval
- Prepare funding analyses for active loans
- Prepare apprentice reports quarterly and coordinate submittal of requested documentation to IEPA
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, funding nomination forms, pre-bid applications, bid packages, loan applications, and post-award documentation for submittal to IEPA
- Track schedule and submittals
- Coordinate with Illinois Department of Natural Resources, State Historic Office and US Army Corps of Engineers for environmental clearances
- Coordinate with DWM to obtain waivers, final quantities, as-built drawings, IEPA permits and any additional requested documentation for IEPA Loan closeouts
- Prepare and review IEPA Loan closeout packages and distribute to DWM
- Compile payment voucher reports and Invoices for requisition and quarterly WIFIA report submittal
- Review WIFIA requisitions
- Assist in the preparation of loan applications for future WIFIA loans or other agencies
- Support program controls teams documenting and reporting loan updates
- Assist DWM with its community outreach efforts as it pertains to the funded program
- Four year college degree
- 3-5 years of experience in securing grants and loans via various programs/sources
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Have a team player mindset with an expert proficiently in written and verbal forms of communication
- Ability to understand client’s funding requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have great organizational skills
- Advanced degree(s)
