Job Overview
We are seeking a new Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Maintenance Technician, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever-evolving project needs.  This opportunity will be located at our Titusville, FL field office.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and improving building systems, equipment and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations
  • Supports preventative maintenance programs, responds to service requests and assists with minor construction, renovations and system upgrades
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Inspect equipment, identify wear or potential failures and take corrective action before breakdown occurs
  • Maintain maintenance logs, asset histories and work orders within the CMMS or tracking system
  • Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer recommendations, safety standards and facility procedures
  • Diagnose equipment failures on lighting, electrical devices, plumbing fixtures, doors, hardware and general building components
  • Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain interior and exterior building conditions, including minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair and ceiling systems
  • Support renovations, office reconfigurations and equipment installations
  • Assist with maintaining site utilities and infrastructure reliability
  • Ensure tools, materials, and spare parts inventory are properly maintained
  • Follow OSHA and site safety requirements during all maintenance activities
  • Ensure equipment is operating within regulatory and manufacturer standards
  • Support safety inspections, audits and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) and hazardous material handling procedures
  • Receive, prioritize, and complete work orders with clear documentation of labor, materials and resolution
  • Track recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Assist with asset condition assessments and lifecycle planning
  • Escort and coordinate third-party service providers performing specialized maintenance
  • Verify work completion and adherence to scope and safety requirements
  • Maintain compliance with all facility security protocols and access procedures throughout employment
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 to 7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry and general building systems
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, manuals and technical instructions
  • Ability to use basic computer functions
  • Be able to pass background screening and any site-specific badging or clearance process required for access
  • Position is located within a secure facility that requires personnel to meet federal security eligibility standards
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in mechanical spaces and use tools/equipment
  • May require occasional after-hours or on-call response for urgent issues
  • Combination of indoor facility work and outdoor site support
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school certifications
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) or controls
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
